Rydell High’s spirited class of ’59 rocks and rolls this Broadway history-making musical with hip Danny Zuko, wholesome Sandy Dumbrowski and the rest of the hot rod-loving crowd. The musical, which was the longest running production on Broadway, is about how rock and roll changed American sexuality and culture. The score is a highly authentic recreation of early, raw rock and roll, invoking early groups including Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, and others. By Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey. Description

Description
Neil Simon’s Broadway smash hit walks the line between comedy and drama in this bittersweet tale of a middle aged couple’s escalating problems living on Second Avenue in New York’s Upper East Side. Mel Edison has just lost his job and has to cope with being unemployed at middle age. Mel and his wife Edna have to deal with a summer heat wave, prolonged garbage strike, noisy neighbors and a robbery of their apartment during broad daylight. When Mel suffers a nervous breakdown, it is up to his brother Harry, his sisters and Edna to bring him back to a firm reality.
